High School Musical’s Zac Efron taking his chance at solo stardom as he stars in “17 Again”, but still as a high school kid, BostonHerald reported.

Zac will be the alter ego of 37-year-old Mike O’Donnell (played by Matthew Perry) who transforms into his 17-year-old self played by Zac, who underwent an emergency appendectomy during the film’s shooting.

Disney’s second film based on its meta-hit TV-and-music franchise opened to an awesome $34 million, proving Hollywood insiders wrong when they estimated lower opening money, LaTimes.com reported.

Hanah Montana, starred by Miley Cyrus in an extended episode of the TV show but it’s opening money could bolster Cyrus’ dreams of getting an Oscars.

Jennifer Lopez wins rights to two websites

Jenniferlopez.net and jenniferlopez.org will now be owned by the Jennifer Lopez Foundation after the American singer and actress won a cybersquatting case against the registrant of the two domain names, Reuters reported.

The man who registered the two domains names claimed both sites are fan sites devoted to providing the latest news and information about Jennifer Lopez but the court ruled that the domains names directed users to a website that generates paid advertising revenues.

Roger Federer Marries Tennis Star

Tennis champion Roger Federer announced on his website that he has married his longtime girlfriend and former WTA tennis player Miroslava “Mirka” Vavrinec in Switzerland on Saturday.

“Earlier today, in my hometown of Basel, surrounded by a small group of close friends and family, Mirka and I got married,” said Roger on his website rogerfederer.com.

“It was a beautiful spring day and an incredibly joyous occasion,” he added.

Roger and Mirka, who met at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, are expecting their first child this summer.

Redmond O’Neal Goes to Jail

Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal’s son, Redmond O’Neal, is going to jail after a judge ruled that he has violated his probation, People.com reported. Redmond is currently on probation stemming from a DUI and drug possession case last June.

The judge terminated his Prop. 36 program after testing positive for meth and because traces of heroin were found in his room.
